Reflexology is an ancient, safe and gentle therapy carried out in a calm and safe environment where you can enjoy some relaxation and let go of life’s stresses, while the treatment itself encourages your body to return to a state of balance.
Reflexology is based on the theory that specific points on the feet, known as reflexes, correspond with different areas of the body. These reflexes on the feet and the related areas of the body can clearly be seen in the interactive foot map accessed by using the link below.

By working the reflex points on the feet the reflexologist can stimulate the body’s natural flow of energy, thereby encouraging balance within the physical, mental and spiritual dimensions of the body and inducing a deep state of relaxation. A reflexology treatment is tailored to the individual and treats each client holistically, taking into account all the factors, physical and non-physical, that might be impacting their health and well-being.
Reflexology may assist in reducing your anxiety, help to support you with a mental or chronic physical health issue or just allow you to take some time for yourself, enabling you to reflect, relax and to calm your nervous system and support your body's functioning overall. Taking responsibility for your physical and mental health wellbeing assists you in coping with life's stresses.
You will only need to remove your shoes and socks to receive a reflexology treatment. During the first treatment, a full medical history will be taken in order to understand your current situation. This information is kept confidential and safe. The treatment involves the reflexologist using their thumbs and fingers to apply pressure to the feet and in certain circumstances the hands or lower legs. The treatment is extremely relaxing and many clients close their eyes, fall asleep, deeply let go and enjoy taking some time for themselves, while their body re-balances.
The first reflexology treatment lasts approximately 1 ½ hours as this includes taking a full medical history, subsequent treatments last 1 hour. A course of treatments is usually recommended to gain maximum benefit.
My practice is in St Andrews, Fife, Scotland.
The first 1 hour 30 minute treatment costs £55. Subsequent 1 hour treatments cost £45
