We all want to achieve and maintain a good state of health and well-being but sometimes in today’s fast-paced and demanding world this can seem difficult to achieve and never has this been more true than during the Covid-19 global pandemic.
Our physical and mental health can easily be weakened by stress, anxiety, depression, attitudes, poor lifestyle and diet. Trying to juggle so many demands can make it difficult to find the time for healthy eating, exercise or time for ourselves to reflect and re-balance. During these difficult times, self-compassion is even more important for us to practice and being able to recognise and accept our mental health needs is crucial for keeping our life in balance and on track with what is important to us in both our professional and personal lives.
Life coaching is an excellent way to be able to take some time for yourself. It provides a safe and supportive environment where you can unburden yourself, be listened to, be supported in clarifying your needs and desires and be facilitated in making important decisions, or just considering your options and if you desire, in setting achievable goals both through this stressful, uncertain time and for the future.
Coaching is a supportive, collaborative and encouraging relationship between you and your coach, it offers you a safe, non-judgmental space in which to collect your thoughts, reflect and consider your feelings around your life as a whole. It offers you the freedom to uncover who you really are, to have an opportunity to look at your situation from a different perspective, to discover your values and what is important to you and to decide what you want in your life going forward.
Given this precious time and space, you will begin to raise your self-awareness, which in turn will raise your awareness of the others in your life, either at work or at home and also increase your awareness of the world around you. This process can be very enlightening and liberating.
As your personal development coach I will provide you with unconditional support and encouragement along your journey. You will be the one making the choices, whatever they may be. It will be an opportunity for self-discovery, greater awareness, personal development, growth, choice and the exciting possibility of change.
As a Certified Resilience Practitioner, I can also assist you with building and strengthening your resilience to enable you to cope better in difficult and stressful situations, both now and into the future. Building your resilience can help you to begin to understand and manage your emotions and behaviours better and ultimately to achieve a more balanced, rewarding and positive life, whatever you encounter. By improving your resilience skills, you will increase your ability to cope with and rise to the inevitable challenges, setbacks and problems that you will meet in the course of your life and be able to come back from them even stronger. As a health and wellbeing coach I can teach you specific resilience skills that can help you to cope better with chronic ill health or assist you on your recovery journey, facilitating you in gaining a more positive perspective around your situation.
In addition, I am a qualified reflexologist with many years of practice both in the UK and overseas. I have a wealth of knowledge and skills which I can share with you to assist you in achieving better health, both physically and mentally, as well as ensuring you maintain your health during difficult times and well in to the future, so you can lead an enjoyable and fulfilling life.
REFLEXOLOGY is a calming and relaxing therapy which can assist the body in returning to a dynamic state of balance. It can reduce stress and anxiety, inducing deep relaxation. When the body is in this relaxed state, it has the opportunity and ability to balance itself and function more efficiently. After a reflexology treatment you may sleep better, feel more energised yet calm and your digestion may also improve. Circulation can be improved together with an opening up of the body’s energy pathways, which can bring balance and vitality to the physical, emotional and mental aspects of the body. You may feel better after just one treatment but a short course of treatments will help you to get back on track with leading a healthy life and feeling more positive.
During challenging times, if a reflexology treatment is not an option for you, then I can still support you with your health and wellbeing through coaching online.
